Shipping Calculation

Shipment is calculated based on the set method for each rule and precedence in your profile.

Free Shipping

With this method, you can choose to ship your product free of charge. You can also choose to set a flat or percentage handling cost. The percentage cost is calculated using the price of the product.

Flat Rate

With this method you can add a fixed or percentage based shipping cost. Similarly, a fixed or percentage based handling cost can be set. The percentage cost is calculated using the price of the product.

When setting a flat rate, if the cumulative button is toggled OFF, shipping will be calculated for each product individually. For example, if three products are added to the cart and it costs $15 dollars to ship each product the shipping cost will be $45.

Whereas if the cumulative button was toggled ON, shipping will be calculated for all three products resulting in a shipping cost of $15.

Ship by Price

This method calculates shipping based off a set price range. When setting your ranges, tax can be calculated using the toggle button “Price Entered with Tax.” When toggled “On” the prices will be calculated without tax. Shipping and handling costs can be added as fixed or percentage based.

When setting a shipping rate, if the cumulative button is toggled OFF, shipping will be calculated for each product individually. For example, if three products fall within different price ranges all three costs will be tallied up and charged as shipping.

Whereas if the cumulative button was toggled ON, shipping will be calculated for the total price range of all the products.

When using the option, we recommend that you enable an additional rule for any products that might not fall within your shipping ranges.

Ship by Quantity

This method allows to set shipping costs based on the quantity of products brought. Shipping and handling cost can be either fixed or percentage based.

When setting your shipping rate, if the cumulative button is toggled OFF, shipping will be calculated for each products individual quantity.

Whereas if the cumulative button was toggled ON, shipping will be calculated based on the total quantity of all products.

When using the option, we recommend that you enable an additional rule for any products that might not fall within your shipping ranges.

Ship by Weight

This method allows to set shipping costs based on the amount each product weighs. This option will need you to provide a packet weight for each product. You can then assign shipping and handling costs to each weight range. Shipping and handling cost can be either fixed or percentage based.

When setting your shipping rate, if the cumulative button is toggled OFF, shipping will be calculated for each products individual weight.

Whereas if the cumulative button was toggled ON, shipping will be calculated based on the total weight of all products.

When using the option, we recommend that you enable an additional rule for any products that might not fall within your shipping ranges. Also any product that has no weight set will automatically fail to ship.
